I researched a lot of standing desks before settling on this one. Most of my colleagues use more expensive desks. After seeing all the characteristics of these desks, most of which didn't suit me, I decided to go beyond our office norms and find my own desk. The features of the G-Pack Pro that set it apart from the rest for me were: Compact design: I needed it to fit in a corner that had depth but no width. Shared Desktop Space: The desktop workspace is very large, much larger than the 'other' brand tablet my colleagues usually use. Detachable Keyboard Tray: Sometimes I don't want to use the keyboard tray and I love that it can be removed so I can get closer to the screens and desktop. Height adjustment: I'm tall. The G-Pack Pro adjusts higher than other brands to give me more comfort when standing. These were the main features that I value over other brands. But as if that weren't enough, the price of the G-Pack Pro is about 50% lower than tables from other manufacturers. I love the rib on the desk that can hold pens or my phone if I want. The lifting mechanism works easily and has a range of height settings. The whole desktop system is a really great product. In fact, my colleagues ask a lot of questions about it and also seem to trust their existing models. I've also bought monitor arms and they do a great job of clearing out clutter and increasing my workspace.
