I bought these lights for my backyard wedding reception and they worked great. The price was very reasonable and I liked that they came on a roll which made them easy to put on and take off after the party. Also, the strand was a lot longer than I initially thought, covering the top of my entire backyard fence line with a little extra. The only setting I liked besides the full setting was the beautiful shimmer setting. It added a charming atmosphere to the party. Since I bought them especially for an event, we didn't take them off right after the party, but left them on for about a week afterwards. After reading the reviews I was afraid that they would rust at night from moisture, but that didn't happen. It wasn't raining while we wore them, but the autumn evenings were pretty dewy. I was able to put them back on the spool and we can use them another time, although I'm not sure what for.
