They're probably great for outside of the mouth use. I have them for all my piercings and the ones in my mouth are the ones that give me the most trouble. that the balls fall off all the time, one ball broke in half trying to put it on, and two of them I accidentally bent with my teeth. Be careful not to bite them. I had to cut one out of my mouth because I couldn't get the ball out after it bent. It's pretty low quality stuff and you have to be very careful with the balls but they are still worth the money as you want something cheap. I would suggest investing a little more and getting better ones if you intend to use them on a daily basis.
