Pleasant material - soft and very supple. Not the easiest job for a beginner, but not that bad. Used a stapler and spray glue as others have recommended. First I laid it in place, centered on the foam. I then added 2 staples to the bottom front to secure it. Then I sprayed foam on the front of the seat (the front of this seat was 6 inches vertically) and ran a stripe down the middle. This kept the material exactly where I wanted it. You'll need to stretch and pin all the way, then work a little along the bottom edge to stretch, crease and pin the pleats *under* the seat so they don't show. It might make more sense when you start installing. It costs money. Started and completed took about an hour (the hardest part was removing the old stuff and staples) but saved me $80-$100 on a new seat when all I needed was the new stuff
