Serves its purpose: seat covers & accessories

This seat cover serves its purpose, but nothing special. This is a large rectangular piece of faux leather that you will cut and pin together. I cut and applied it myself with the help of another person. It doesn't sit perfectly flat due to the design of my seat, but again it gets the job done for a low price. If you don't mind a custom fit, this is your best bet. You can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good quality cover, not many tacks included

The cover itself is of good quality. I was able to adjust and stretch it properly and it looks great on the bike. No wrinkles if you take your time and stretch it properly. The material itself seems to be quite durable. I've only ridden it a few times since converting the seat but so far so good. The included buttons are pretty flimsy, and the three I tried bent or broke when I tried to use them. Stick to a construction stapler and you'll be fine.

Installation knowledge required!

The material is of very good quality and there was enough of it. The included buttons were more like a bulletin board than trying to attach it to a motorcycle seat frame. As hard as I tried, I couldn't get it to work. The buttons were constantly bending and not hitting the plastic frame of the seat. I had other people trying and trying to help me but to no avail. Nice material, good quality and stretchy but unless you have at least some upholstery skills or tools or both this probably isn't for

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

I recommend for mounting the 70s!

This is quite suitable for my needs. I used it on a 1971 CT1 seat that I cut foam into. I also added a 1/8 inch piece of leather underneath this seat pad that was cut to the shape of the seat because there were holes in the foam and the holes needed to be visible through this seat pad. It's not as thick as motocross cases but stretches well and stays in place well. This type of seat used metal snap tabs to secure the material but I had to use rivets front and back as there were no tabs. Much…

elastic. Very good hold. It may seem thin.

The material is MUCH more resilient than any seat material I've used. It is also stickier than other materials. It's very stubborn. I often have to slide around the seat when shifting my weight around corners. I was afraid the grip would make it difficult. But I've gotten used to it. I didn't think it would hold up that well because it's thinner than most vinyls I've used and I had to stretch quite a bit in the sharp corners of the seat. But after 3 months of almost daily driving, it seems to…

A simple and affordable lanyard kit that looks original!

Pre-cut fabric, perfectly sized and easy to work with. The included thumb studs weren't of very good quality and I struggled to hammer them into the hard plastic of the seat. Luckily I had a sturdy handgun on hand and would recommend getting one for this project. I also recommend using spray adhesive to attach the material to your seat foam. I only used the thumb studs as an extra attachment (if I was lucky enough to poke one or two through the plastic) after I secured the material. with enough

High-quality material, good price

Pleasant material - soft and very supple. Not the easiest job for a beginner, but not that bad. Used a stapler and spray glue as others have recommended. First I laid it in place, centered on the foam. I then added 2 staples to the bottom front to secure it. Then I sprayed foam on the front of the seat (the front of this seat was 6 inches vertically) and ran a stripe down the middle. This kept the material exactly where I wanted it. You'll need to stretch and pin all the way, then work a little

  • Ideal for outdoor activities
