I use this joystick almost every day to play a lot of arcade games, but I have my own complaints. The standard stick part wasn't accurate enough to be suitable for real competitive play and I had to rummage through my old stick to find a decent part. Another standard part that causes problems are the buttons. The six buttons that come with the joystick are VERY stiff compared to the standard Sanwa parts. This wouldn't be a complete problem if they weren't soldered in, preventing the easy button swapping that other sticks have to offer. The size of the stick also makes it unstable in some situations. This stick is $80? Not at all. Are there better sticks for almost half the price? Definitive. But can this stick be used? If you've already made a purchase and are sticking with it for a while (like me) it's not the worst thing in the world, but you should really look for a replacement that offers real modding opportunities.
