I used this little part to replace the power button on my home computer. That's cheaper than a new case. I could just drill a new hole in the case and install it that way. I was lucky; The old power button was a bit bigger than this one, so I just knocked out the old button, drilled out some plastic, and the button fit right into the old power button's cutout. No random power problems. The switch is cheap, but it doesn't feel cheap. If this lasts a while, say a year or so, I'll probably buy another one instead of replacing the case.
