Review on 🎧 Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter for Bose Quiet Comfort 25 Headphones - Improved Version for QC25 White (White) by Daron Ellis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Meets all requirements, highly recommended but battery dead after 1 year 11 months.

Update, 05/29/2021: I would like the battery to last longer, but after about 2 years the battery suddenly stops holding a charge. This was not a gradual deterioration as might be expected. After about 5 minutes it switched from normal battery life to low battery warning. No drips, it has never been wet, only used in temperature and humidity controlled office environments. All in all a very good product. I'm about to replace it with another one or switch to another brand. Given the price and two years of regular use, I would still recommend this device. First review: When looking for a wireless adapter, I ruled out AirMods due to the proprietary connector and the fact that they have to be removed to charge. If that's not a problem, they're well rated and worth trying. I haven't tried them, so I can't speak about personal experience. I bought a MYRIANN adapter but despite the excellent performance, the connector did not fit crookedly and was so tight that I was afraid I might end up breaking something. I didn't hear or feel the jack and had to press hard enough to make it appear as if something would give way. Good price and performance was excellent. I gave them another try and I'm glad I did. You have the right form factor. I hear and feel that the connector is a clean fit and the dimensions match the QC25 well. They don't rattle and snap into place with a sense of confidence. Don't worry about them falling out. Bluetooth performance is only slightly worse than MYRIANN in my experience and not enough to be noticeable in most cases. Not enough to really mention. On conference calls or Zoom meetings, no one ever said they had a hard time understanding me. The sound quality of the QC25 has always been excellent. Battery performance is solid, but probably not as advertised. I guess 6-8. It doesn't need to be removed to charge and uses a non-proprietary USB connector to charge. I usually charge them daily. It helps me all day without any problems. They work well with the iPhone and are great for conference calls, Zoom and Skype meetings. I've never heard anyone say that sound quality is an issue. When attached to the headphones, it looks like an integral part of the headphones and will be invisible to those not looking for it. When it detects that the Bluetooth signal has stopped, it will turn off to save power. Thanks to the manufacturer for doing everything right.

Pros
  • Universal micro USB charger. You never have to remove the device from the headphones.
Cons
  • There are nuances
