We purchased three to protect Monarch caterpillars from wasps. Thankfully, they work well. However, they are hard to clean well, as droppings are both on the bottom, and in the pots holding the plants. This has been the best solution so far. However, I would prefer planting the milkweed, and placing these over the plant, anchoring them down from the wind, and able to lift off. As leaves are totally eaten, we could move the case, as well as cats still munching away. We have many spider wasps and in Spring they carry off many of the cats. Frustrating and sad to see. Anyway, those are our thoughts.
