I was worried because I read that it doesn’t cover enough of the palmrest to the very edges, but for me it did. The color matches almost perfectly. You can tell that there something there but it’s really a pretty minuscule difference. I’m more concerned with not letting my watch scratch it or my palms wear out surface. Installation is pretty straightforward. Peel off of paper and very carefully line it up. I did it by lining it up to the bottom and using the notch in the middle of Bill MacBook to guide me for how left or right I needed to move and use my thumbs as a barrier to not let it go any more forward than the edge of the MacBook.
