Well its a pain to open since there is no flap to open the packaging, but minor issue. I just installed it today and so far it's ok, at best. When I opened the package, I thought that the skin was way too different than the actual macbook laptop. Once I put it on, it does look different but it doesn't look off. It does have more texture and kind of a shiny speckled appearance but it doesn't contrast greatly with the laptop. I usually don't use any protector on my MacBook, but since I spend quite a bit of money, I want to protect it more from my watch belt bucket and jewelry. My only feedback would be that I wish it weren't designed to be a perfect fit to the edge because I feel one side is shifted just a tiny bit to the right, but I won’t complain too much about the price. I didn't use the trackpad skin since the chances of scratching it are minimal on my use case.

I like how protectant it is, the color is slightly off to where you can see the division between sticker and laptop. However, it is still very good.

Works great on my MacBook 2017 13”. The only qualm I have is that the track pad is ever so slightly too big, and lifts just a tiny bit on one edge. Easily fixed by trimming it. Otherwise, it’s great protection for an expensive investment. It hasn’t come loose, and feels nice.

I love this! It saves my Mac from scratches and it’s mistake friendly! You mess up? Pull it up and try again. Took me four or five tries to put it on where it fit to my anxiety/OCD standards, and the adhesive still stayed strong! Pretty thin and the texture is nice and close to the Mac, but enough texture that it CAN act as a good distraction/fidget, but is pretty smooth.

Unless your hands are extremely still, and you have expert focus, you probably won't install it perfectly.Don't worry. Nobody will notice.The palm rest was easier to install than the trackpad - the trackpad that comes separate is slightly smaller, and is the one I preferred to install. On my old Mac books I never had a protector such as this on it and it made marks on the wrist area. So that's why I ordered this to protect my essspensive new Mac. The adhesive is holding up and it's worth it if you want to protect your device from markings :)
