In fact it works amazingly when turned on its side
So I was skeptical after reading the reviews. But it works amazing and cools the fridge. You need to turn it on its side so the fan is pointing straight up from the bottom shelf. But it's flat so it works fine. We have a thermometer in the fridge and now it keeps the top much colder than it used to be much warmer. Give it a try, don't listen to the naysayers, it doesn't blow much but you can feel a gentle breeze and it's enough to get the job done in a small fridge.
