Call Killer Robot: Office electronics

For my desk phone, I used a Panasonic cordless phone system. It had call blocking but you had to enter the call you wanted to block and it only blocked up to 250 calls. The AT&T system can do this too, although I don't use this feature. Instead I programmed it to check every call. If the call is in my phone book or the name of the caller is in my exclusion list, it will be put through directly. If the system does not recognize the name, it prompts the caller to press # to continue. When the caller presses #, the call is put through and you can either answer or let it ring and receive messages. Calls via autodialer, there is no one around to press # so the call drops and my phone never rings on this type of call. It records all calls, even when not calling there is still a call record. If you have a constant caller who always calls, you can block them, but personally I haven't had a problem. I like it because I don't have to constantly empty my block list. The audio part is pretty good which is nice as I can't hear well. What could be better: the phone is harder to read than the Panasonic and because it's capable of a lot it wasn't easy to figure out how to do it. Programming (could be fixed with better guidance). Just follow the voice-guided setup instructions to get started. It's very simple and your phone will be up and running in no time. Then study the instructions and figure out how to set up the configuration. I am very satisfied with this telephone system.
