I use this large rubber mat in our home. Things get very wet. Located next to one of the potting stations, you can comfortably stand on it for a long time. Moisture easily penetrates through the holes. Dirt and debris get stuck, but hosing down is an easy fix. It has a strong rubber odor that will fade over time. Good carpet.
