Review on 🌡️ Derale 13011 Fluid Control Thermostat Kit: Enhance Efficiency & Temperature Control with Silver Solution by Cody Cobbs

Very happy with Derale 13011 thermostat and mounting bracket (bracket to be ordered separately). A few years ago I bought a used Chevy 2500HD 6.0L a few years ago and my heat is sluggish, outside temp 110*, in stop and go traffic my trans temp never went above 215*. I wanted to drop that a few degrees so in the middle of summer I installed a really cool 40k transmission cooler and all summer I never saw the transmission surpass 165*. Fast forward so far, the outside temp is 50/60 and my gear temp never gets to 100* (Tru-Cool does the trick). I fitted a Derale thermostat and now my transmission runs in the 150*-160* range (city, towing, outside temps up to the mid 80's, stop and go traffic). I'm a lucky tourist.
