They are ideal for children with wide or narrow feet! All straps are adjustable and never irritated my son's feet like other sandals. I would say they are true to size if you go by the size chart. My son's feet are exactly 6 1/2 inches. I have a size 9 and a size 10 to see which one fits him best. Size 9 fits him perfectly, but size 10 will also fit with extra room to grow. I ended up sticking with size 10 so he can still wear them comfortably and hopefully last the next 6 months in warm weather.
