A recent comment said it screwed right into the box so they may have changed it after I bought it but my flashlight didn't fit. I had to change the setup because the screws fit into the cavity between the box and the drywall, meaning there was nothing to screw with. I simply cut some extensions from a metal soup can, attached them to the mounting box and screwed the lantern into it. The comment mentions yellow light or dim daylight. But that's not my experience. For me it is like a shining sun. Bought two, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. Maybe too light for the bathroom so I might put it in the wash.
