The switch itself feels very solid and has a very distinct click when turning on and off, the switch seems to last a long time. The cable connections feel a little flimsy and I was under the impression that over tightening could cause them to break. The strain relief on each end is quite strong and does a very good job of preventing the connections from being pulled out of the screw connectors when the cable is pulled. Overall a good switch and value for money, I was happy with it and would buy another if needed. Connect the 2 core power cord to your Samsung DVD player very well, the DVD player has a habit of turning on randomly and this built in switch saved me from unplugging it from the wall when not in use , much easier to use Press the switch than reach behind the cabinet to turn off the power!
