Without legs, a cutting board tends to slide or spin on a smooth quartz countertop. The legs keep the cutting board in place when you use it. I like the small size. The underside of the cutting board I made is a serving tray and the legs don't interfere. I couldn't find anything suitable at my local hardware stores so I'm very happy to find them at Revain. be a little softer - hence 4 stars instead of 5.
