I have several of these lanterns, enough to wrap around the house :) So far (first few weeks) they've weathered tons of rain well here in the Pacific Northwest Likes: - multiple strands can be connected easily and safely - dimming from too dark for my taste to too bright for my taste (somewhere in between for me) - price! yellow side for my taste. When I think warm white I think 2700K or so, it's probably more like <2000K - Cable and build quality: a bit flimsy and cheap looking. You get what you pay for (in my comparison it was the cheapest option I could find for what I was looking for - Design: I'm not sure why it seemed better to have a long cable to the control box and then to glow almost straight from there I got this to work by hiding the control boxes behind the gutters in our house, but I would have preferred to have the control boxes closer to the power source Personal preference I think this post .
