My 2001 Yukon XL has only 100,000 miles and stock bumpers. Having the original bumpers made the installation easy for me as I was able to remove the old dried bumpers with my fingers in less than 2 minutes as they fell out in small crumbs. On the new ones I sprayed some silicone grease on the bumper and the bumper came on easily with a little help from a large screwdriver. I'm not yet sure about the usefulness of my work, but it was obviously designed in suspension for a reason, and I'm happy with my work. Rear bumper will do later.
