They make great plants, but for edibles I had to go through and separate the petals to make sure there weren't any random pieces. I removed a strand of hair and some silky or cobweb-like remnants. There is a beautiful color - I was expecting more of a lilac-pink, but in some water I got a pink-pink color, like Zinfandel Rosé. Mixed with powdered sugar I got a light pink, again not too purple. They smell pleasant and are of course great for oil infusions - they even add a little rose oil. The price is decent, you get a huuuugage bag. I have so much left over to add to other projects.
