Used to carry e-bikes and regular bikes. Assembly was easy except that the first time I assembled I put the support arms in place with the set screws on top as the instructions didn't say so. Everything works with the levers upside down, but it's possible that the water will get in easier if the screws are up. The e-bike we have is a step-by-step model, so we had to use a 'short' holding arm. to do this so that it goes low enough to hook the crossbar that is on the step just above the crank. We also wanted the heavier eBike to be on the inside, closest to the car and center of gravity. To do this, the middle arm can be removed and rotated 180 degrees. It's easy to secure the bikes by using two hands to move the retaining clips up or down the center arm - if you try to grab it with one hand, it snaps. Works great with both hands.
