HEAVY ENOUGH FOR EBIKES

My e-bikes fit perfectly on the trunk. Great carrier! The only problem I had with the holder was that there wasn't enough thread on the receiver hitch stop screw. The threads would not engage the nut unless you removed the two washers. even as streams captured by only a few streams. I wrote to the company, they said they would send another screw. It's been two months and still no screw. Bad customer service.

Heavy duty, easy to use, great price

This is a fantastic off-road bike rack. It is hard wearing and long lasting. It has locks on both arms that hold bikes in place and lock onto your hitch. It folds back when the bikes are on to access the hatch, or folds up when not in use. Comparable in performance to Yakima, but cheaper. We have heavy electric mountain bikes and this rack is solid for them. The levers are very easy to lower and secure the bikes. Very important.

Be careful. Serious defect

Loaded e-bikes and rode them on the Autobahn. The freeway was bumpy and I looked in my rearview mirror to see the bike disappear. I pulled over and found that my cable lock had caught the bike, preventing it from going onto the freeway. I re-tightened and re-secured the rack mounts, but this time I tightened the cable. Five miles later, the bike shook again. The retaining latches are made of plastic and slide even when locked when force is applied. After that I used a ratchet strap to hold the…

Manufacturer Defective

The "ARM" on the stand that rises and then the hooks hold the bike on the platform has a manufacturer. Malfunction. The mounting screw that secures the lever to the main structure has a threaded hole with the threads removed, the threads are flat and there is no engagement with the threads. The photos above are from a rack that is two weeks old. I believe this is a problem coming from the actual rack manufacturer. The problem is that the spring loaded ball will loosen, the arm will fall off and

Good platform stand, suitable for accessories

Used to carry e-bikes and regular bikes. Assembly was easy except that the first time I assembled I put the support arms in place with the set screws on top as the instructions didn't say so. Everything works with the levers upside down, but it's possible that the water will get in easier if the screws are up. The e-bike we have is a step-by-step model, so we had to use a 'short' holding arm. to do this so that it goes low enough to hook the crossbar that is on the step just above the crank. We

Perfect! Intuitive design, sturdy, no wobble, easily fits 2 heavy e-bikes

I've been looking for different hitch mounts for my and my wife's e-bikes. We have two electric mountain bikes, one with a mid-drive Yamaha PW-X hardtail and the other with a full-suspension Bosch Haibike mid-drive. These are heavy and expensive bikes and I wanted something safe and durable to transport. The bikes themselves cost about 8 times more than the car we use to transport them. I looked at the Hollywood rack, Thule and others. It seemed like the best value for money. The ratchet…

solid but design could be better

This is a solid luggage rack that securely holds two of our e-bikes. Much better locking ratchet hooks than the previous version with screw clamps that just kept coming loose - we almost lost the outside bike twice! But there are some design/manufacturing flaws hence only 3 stars. First, the center post that holds the two bike hooks has ratchet grooves on the right side, as intended. This makes it difficult to mount bikes. When the long hook is put on first. To fix the bike closest to the car…
