Update 9-17 The printer is fine so far.

Update 7-23 Well I have to admit that this printer is durable. I made a print that took over 31 hours to print (photo by Octoprint)! I had no problems at all with printing. I still find the right settings in the slicer so the props don't stick to items so well! I updated Marlin to version 1.1.8 from the provided link. There was an issue with the U8glib_Arduino display master files. It was easy to find and download from GitHub. I use a Mac so I couldn't use the Arduino software version listed, but I had no problems! The alignment of the mesh layers works well so far. I'm going to put some shims under the balance springs to give them a little more tension. I also install an automatic bed leveling system. I'll post how it goes. Only one thing had to be replaced so far and that was the fan on the extruder. It was starting to make some "I'm going to spend" noises, so I bought it off Amazon and replaced it. Update 6-17 So far so good with the printer. Several suggestions. Calibrate the extruder feed. It was a bit different for me, I extruded 100mm and he extruded 94mm. easy to fix.2. Calibrate the x, y and z axes. All were slightly offset, but the z-axis was the strongest. Easy Solution 3. Print out the spool holder from Tinker Cad website to improve printing efficiency. It made an improvement in printing. With the coil sitting on an 8mm rod it would wiggle back and forth effectively pulling the entire assembly off the top controller box. This printer never ceases to amaze me with the quality of prints I can get. from that. Update 6-10 ADIMLab contacted via Revain and received an email this evening! Explained the problem with loose parts and broken filament via email. So that's a plus for the company for contacting me so quickly! I'm working on setting up repitarhost and slic3r. You can put a lot in there. No filament to test because USPS messed it up. But I managed to connect it (MAC driver on the SD card). I can move it, heat the platform and extruder to adjust the temperature. So if my thread is here I will do a short video on June 9th (arrival date) on how to set up and start printing with the included software (updated to the current version). First let me say that this is my first 3D printer. The first impression I had upon opening the first box and then the second bow was that it appeared to be well packaged and protected. When I opened up and removed the foam, the heated platen stepper motor was loose on the box. Started to get a little nervous which I would find out later. That was the first part I had to fix. So I went through the base and checked all the fasteners I could see and tightened them all. There were a few free ones, but not too many. I started the portal, checked all the fasteners and again found a few loose ones. Check all rollers to make sure they are tight and move well. All plugs connected with no problems. The bed heater cord was tricky but I found a place to secure it with a wire to keep the plug from moving. I will make a holder to hold it in place. After everything was done I manually moved X, Y, Z to the middle of their range and checked by manually moving them on the controller to make sure everything is connected properly. Click on the RV and make any restrictions to make sure they work and work. So I turned it off again, turned the RV back on, let it come home on its own, and started straightening the bed. That was the worst part of the whole setup! Very tricky and took 20-25 minutes but looked fine (I checked the Z axis to make sure they were correct. Had to adjust this with a few turns on one side). So I plugged in the SD card and then turned on the PLA warm up, opened the filament package and couldn't believe what was in there. Look at the picture. So I didn't let that stop me from printing anything! I printed the Gcode file onto an SD card and had to feed the pieces into the extruder one at a time. The printed object was a 50mm x 50mm x 20mm box with a hole in it. It turned out that you need to feed the thread little by little. I'll update this when I have more time with it and some strands are longer than 6 inches๐Ÿ˜
