I installed this muffler on a 1998 Chevy Metro 1 liter hatchback. Like the other review, it doesn't match your current resonator. You will need a Walker resonator assembly, part #46928. I just replaced my entire exhaust with a Walker. This is exactly what my little car needs. This silencer makes it quiet. However, it does not fit in the center of the small cut-out in the bumper for the exhaust pipe. But nothing bothers you, and you don't even notice it if you don't know where the old one fits in. The silencer worked within minutes. You will also need a 1 1/2" U-clamp to attach the muffler to the resonator. This muffler may fit older Metro cars with a stock resonator, but I don't know as I don't have one. Great overall Product and a great exhaust, you just need to buy other parts to install it.
