Although I do agree that there is a weak point right where the cable meets the board, with a little preparation and a method to Fixing the cable at the junction you shouldn't have any problems with breaking it. But please don't leave it hanging in mid-air and don't expect it to stay intact. And don't keep playing the music fan connector expecting it to stay intact. However, as long as you use double-sided tape and a clamp to hold the cable in place next to the connector, and don't plug and unplug the fans on the same machine every 10 minutes for a few weeks, you should be fine. I honestly think some people abuse products or commit extreme caveman torture and then complain about how the product fell apart. I have 4 splitter fans on this hub. Works perfectly. Also, there were only two fan connectors on the board.
