Arrived with damaged internals

The pins were badly bent rendering the item unusable. If you can find a seller who will ship it intact, it may be suitable for your needs. But unfortunately I have had other experiences. A lot of this is happening lately. Perhaps people are distracted by the difficulties we face today. For that reason, I just shrug. what else can I do?

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Was damaged

Does what it's supposed to and is well made

Please make sure the first fan you install is the first connector closest to the white connector coming out of the circuit board. This is the only fan that will read the PWM signal and show you the speed in the monitoring software. The cable is a bit stiff but easy enough to install. Material quality is good, workmanship is good. Double-sided tape is good too. All in all this is a good product. Does what it's supposed to do well. If he had a way to cut the wire, that would be perfect.

  • Great for me

Board disconnected from cable while installing PC

Board disconnected from cable when I was plugging in the fan connectors. So I don't know how it works so far. I cut the insulation and noticed that the wires are separated at 4 solder points. I just use my soldering iron to re-solder the wires and then put on new heat shrink tubing. Hope it works and lasts. The solder joints are quite small and break easily. I think that's why people complain about the fan turning on and off or other issues.

Pros
  • Permanent finish
Cons
  • No power

Enough for the price

I used to run my fans from my PSU with Molex splitters. So when I upgraded to a more modern PC, I needed a few more fan headers than my phone. Many of these cheap hubs and even some brand names like Arctic that come with the case have many bad reviews about cables that are not properly connected and can cause problems. I went with this one and it works pretty well, if I wanted to do better I think it would have to be in the $30+ price range. The downsides for me are that when I first turn on my

Decent fan hub best in Fans & Cooling

While I do agree that there is a weak point right where the cable meets the board, with a little prep and a method of attaching the cable to the Connection point should you do this however have no problems with the failure. But please don't leave it hanging in mid-air and don't expect it to stay intact. And don't keep playing the music fan connector expecting it to stay intact. However, as long as you use double-sided tape and a clamp to hold the cable in place next to the connector, and don'tโ€ฆ

A decent fan hub under Internals

The Easy Way to Add More Fans

If you want to add more fans to your case but don't have extra fan connectors, this is the easy solution. This allows you to connect PWM fans, unlike some splitters that don't have 4-wire PWM connectors. This is useful for connecting multiple fans to a single fan speed control head without having to configure each individual fan in the BIOS. Just use one setting for all connected fans. Be careful. Connecting 5 fans to one motherboard header can result in too much current on a single header. You
