Happy wife, happy life

My wife has complained about the lighting in our dressing room for several years. I've looked into installing traditional glass lamps and found that they are 1) expensive and 2) difficult to install. So I quit and I'm glad I did. I received a Globe 4 LED light to try out. For old-schoolers like me, it's the equivalent of a 50-watt incandescent bulb. It's not that much light but I'm planning on installing three more and using them in combination with two lamps like that are already in the closet so you should be fine. Although I haven't seen them in person, Globe also sells a 6-inch version of the same product, which is the equivalent of a 75-watt lightbulb. Installing this light was very easy. They include a template for cutting drywall, and the little black box has an easy white/black/ground wire connector. The black box is connected to the bracket, then insert the light into the hole, done. LEDs are built into the fixture, so you can't change the lightbulb. But at best, this closet is lit for an hour a day. So 50,000 hours means I'm good for almost 137 years. Even if their life expectancy is halved, I think my grandchildren will survive the lightbulb, and let's face it, after 137 years it's probably time for a facelift anyway. After installation I cut out the holes and routed the wires for three more fixtures that are now being ordered.
