Compared to the standard green/blue vents these are fantastic. I use these for my in-tank weed scraper and they are perfect. I've broken regular airstones many times, but after many months of use, none of them have yet broken, probably due to the fact that three sides are covered in plastic. . Plus, they still distribute the air evenly down the length of the stone, rather than just clogging and blistering one end or the other. The bubbles are also much smaller than regular stones. Add this to the extremely affordable price and I am very satisfied.
