Well, some work well and some don't. I give it 3 stars as the ones that work properly produce a lot of small bubbles well. The rest is not very good.

Single-sided output design. As a result, I'm not sure about longevity when working with nutrient solution where clogging can be an issue. Otherwise, bubbles are rendered as expected for that size.

I used one on a minnow bait bucket. Keeps my minnows alive all day. Releases many bubbles all over the stone. Others I've used in my aquarium and they release a few bubbles. After 2 weeks I was concerned, I was seeing fewer blisters and even though the stone was clogged. It turned out that my air hose was kinked. After I straightened the hose it worked like new.

Compared to the standard green/blue vents these are fantastic. I use these for my in-tank weed scraper and they are perfect. I've broken regular airstones many times, but after many months of use, none of them have yet broken, probably due to the fact that three sides are covered in plastic. . I use these stones to aerate small hydroponic lettuce systems. I dedicate a stone to each Tetra Whisper 10 air pump, which is their smallest pump. With these minimal pumps, 4" Waycreat rocks provide enough aeration for 6 adult lettuce plants. My systems are more or less standalone versions of the Aerogarden Harvest model.
