These scissors are much heavier and overall much better made than I expected for the price. However, the lack of value really shows in the blades. Although sharp, one pair has a deformed blade and mismatched tip; the other pair has better alignment and much less warping, but the dots are of different thicknesses. The screws also came loose almost immediately and, unlike well-made scissors, cannot be tightened or adjusted. did because lazy) and save wear and tear on your good pair of scissors, these will do. or just give up and get Ginghers/Singers/DMC especially if you are involved in a big embroidery project. Life is too short for lousy scissors. But they are very attractive.
