It's so annoying to find such a great and effective product that is then discontinued and replaced with a lower quality product at a higher price. I've stocked up and I'm hoping that by the time I'm done, another company (or even Aveda) will come up with something equally effective. The secret is to tap the product lightly on your palm, rub your palms together and apply from the root. Otherwise, if you follow the directions and pat the head, you risk getting noticeable clumps of white powder. Luckily my hair is silvery white and the product masks and leaves a light residue on individual hairs which adds volume to the hair, just what I needed. Reduces the need to cleanse hair of natural oils from frequent washing. I use all Aveda products, but Aveda shampoos, conditioners and other products can also stress my hair. Highly recommended.
