Possible hair burn
The curling brush only has 5 rows of bristles (my previous one had 6) and they are shorter than my previous brush. Brushes with only 5 rows of bristles tend to burn the scalp when used. And when you add shorter bristles to that, the potential goes up. It would be helpful if curling iron product descriptions included this information.
