Review on Camp Chef DFT12 12 Thermometer by Amy Patton

This is an amazing thermometer so I gave it the 5 stars it deserves. Price versus quality, you just can't beat it. Home brewer warning: This thermometer exceeds 500 degrees. This seems great until you realize it causes numbers/strings to get smaller. For us home brewers, the range of 150-170 degrees is most important, and for this thermometer, that range is about 2 cm. Bottom line: if you're looking for a home brewer thermometer, choose a thermometer that only goes up. up to 220. If you are looking for a thermometer that reads over 500, this is it!
