It's a small investment to prevent you from being in a cast or worse for weeks, plus hospital bills. The kit itself protects your little one from knee to head. The material is heavy plastic and will protect your child from normal everyday falls but no more and shouldn't be expected to issue a warning as such. My daughter finds them comfortable to wear and loves the colors they come in. The helmet is protective but I wouldn't recommend it for cycling. Overall I don't want the best security set as it will outgrow them quickly but I want it to be secure and at this price point I would recommend it.
