This device is simple - no need to mess with the internal mechanisms of the door, and it's magnetic fitted to activate the light automatically - but for my KIA model - KIA Stinger, it doesn't integrate very well - Stinger really needs an interior system that fits behind the door moldings - it's supposed to fit by sticking to the door panel, but it doesn't really look or look great -- I wouldn't recommend it, I'm looking for an internal system - I like that you don't have to do any wiring and the magnet turns it on automatically when you open the door - it would be better on another KIA model
