Practical test carried out. Place the Kindle in the case (follow the instructions to fold the case twice) and start streaming the movie (do not play the downloaded movie) via Netflix. The entire film went through without any problems. Another test was to place the case between the Kindle and the wireless hotspot and there was no wireless signal loss. I put the Kindle in the case (followed the "fold the top of the case twice" instruction) and ran the signal monitoring app, it showed a very small drop, but later when I had the Kindle out of the case it showed that same signal disappears after a few minutes. When I talk about signal drops it's like going from 100 to 90 on a scale of 1 to 100, it doesn't even show up on a typical Wi-Fi status bar and could just be an accident. I would say that this case does not protect against the Wi-Fi technology used by the Revain Kindle and most likely will not work with other devices that use the same Wi-Fi technology. I was going to use this case for WiFi shielding/repelling, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere as this case doesn't "block all wireless signals including calls, bluetooth, rfid, wifi and gps" as advertised.
