Faraday Bag for Keyless Ignition and Cell Phones

I bought this Faraday Mission Darkness bag because I was concerned about the growing trend of stealing keyless ignition cars with "relay attacks" where thieves see the transmitted signal outside hijack your house. Use the closest key fob in the house with a special receiver, and that receiver will transmit that signal to the car, allowing thieves to open it and/or turn on the ignition. I placed both key fobs in the Mission Darkness Faraday Bag and tried to start the Nissan Maxima several timesโ€ฆ

A VERY well made professional product that works!

VERY well made and working! It might be a little overused but I love it! I did some real-world testing myself using cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. When the phone was on in the pocket, the signal was neither coming in nor out. Note that putting your phone in your pocket means turning your phone OFF, TURNING IT OFF, not just sleeping. If you don't do this, your phone will keep trying to connect to the cellular network, which will quickly drain your battery. Use your bag wisely. Turn off yourโ€ฆ

Looks good but doesn't work.

Practical test carried out. Place the Kindle in the case (follow the instructions to fold the case twice) and start streaming the movie (do not play the downloaded movie) via Netflix. The entire film went through without any problems. Another test was to place the case between the Kindle and the wireless hotspot and there was no wireless signal loss. I put the Kindle in the case (followed the "fold the top of the case twice" instruction) and ran the signal monitoring app, it showed a very small

Experience Known Error "Leaks "

Subscription to security products and services requires the supplier/manufacturer to be 100% satisfied that their product will perform as described. This product serves only one purpose: to block signals. This is the first time I buy products of this type. In 3 months of experience, I have learned that when I accidentally left my cell phone (Airplane mode connected to Wi-Fi) in Mission Darkness' sealed packaging (as advertised), my cell phone provider sent a text message (over Wi-Fi) to the has

Check it out properly with the online application.

Loved this but decided to try it a few times to see if it works. My first exam. I connected to a Bluetooth music receiver, turned on some music, and then slipped my phone into this pocket. The music stopped. 2nd exam. I had Wi-Fi turned off and data on, I put my phone in my pocket and texted to my phone through the computer. There are no message reception tones. I took my phone out of my pocket and a few seconds later I got a message! So far, so good. Then I turned off the data, turned on Wi-Fi

Its design reminds me of a Tumi style ballistic nylon briefcase

I ordered my first Faraday bag without the Mission Darkness window from another brand that sells a collection of different sizes of layered mylar bags , which allow them to be stowed inside each other (nested) to create the protection they offer. Before ordering, I noticed that they offer an app on the Mission Darkness website that you can download to your phone to actually test the effectiveness of the packages at blocking cellular coverage. and Wi-Fi signals; as a means of testing the pouch's
