Experience Known Error "Leaks "

Subscription to security products and services requires the supplier/manufacturer to be 100% satisfied that their product will perform as described. This product serves only one purpose: to block signals. This is the first time I buy products of this type. In 3 months of experience, I have learned that when I accidentally left my cell phone (Airplane mode connected to Wi-Fi) in Mission Darkness' sealed packaging (as advertised), my cell phone provider sent a text message (over Wi-Fi) to the has cell phone in the pocket in the immediate vicinity of the WLAN router. This could happen within 15 feet of a Wi-Fi signal, and when I ran the test I could feel/hear my phone vibrate every time I received a test SMS. I tested a second unused bag which successfully blocked the signals. The seller was very accommodating in processing my refunds and advising that this product is known to leak after normal or heavy use. The manufacturer did not answer my questions. I believe a workaround might be to buy 2 packs and nest them inside each other, which can block the signals as described. While there may be a way to mitigate this shortcoming, I'm giving 2 stars because the hidden shortcoming is not disclosed and customers may use the product with a false sense of security. I don't know how this defect could exist in accordance with military or police requirements, or how this defect failed other checks. Portability: The design could be improved by offering loops or straps to secure it during transport.
