I love this adapter. I was looking for something I could use to store footage and photos for an upcoming trip to Japan. Because I don't want to take my laptop with me. The only devices I will have with me are the Samsung Galaxy S8+, Kindle Paperwhite and a 128GB USB 3.0 flash drive. I've already tested the adapter and was able to find the flash drive in the Android file system using the ES File Explorer app, and the transfer speed from the phone to the flash drive was surprisingly fast. This adapter made it possible. I'm impressed with its quality and love the extra cable length between the USB 3.0 port and the USB-C port as it's more resilient to knocks, bumps and unexpected physical contact than a dongle or fixed port-to-port adapter .
