This Maccibelle Professional Advanced Heel Care Cream is great for moderately dry heels and feet. As we age, we all develop calluses and dry skin on our heels and feet. It can even go so far that the heels burst. There are a number of products that address this issue including foot scrubs, electric callus removers, liquid callus removers and manual foot files. I use them all at different times of the year to keep my legs presentable and all of these methods work best when you use a good foot cream. Since our feet have thicker skin than other parts of the body, conventional creams and lotions are not optimal. The best foot creams contain urea, which perfectly penetrates thickened skin, smooths cracks, softens and heals. This cream contains urea, but it is not specified how much. I would rather know what percentage of urea. It is a white cream that is easy to apply and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film on the legs. I use it after using a hand filed foot file at night and then cover my feet with socks before going to bed. My legs are soft and smooth in the mornings, although I keep them in pretty good shape. If your heels are really bad and cracked you need a 40% urea product and I don't know if that's the case. But it works and it has a light, very pleasant scent. For the price this is a good cream that softens the feet and heels well.
