Terrible - damaged the paintwork.

Apply the film to a freshly washed and waxed car and seal all leading edges of the film with blue painter's tape to keep the wind out. The foil is very difficult to use because the glue sticks very strongly to the roll. It takes a lot of strength and patience to even handle a role. Traveled from Texas to Indiana in 2 days. The film held up well on the car. The temperature is always between 55 and 95. Upon arrival, they began filming. So the foil came off the car, but the glue didn't. As you can see in the photo, there are heavy marks on the paint where the film was pasted. We tried removing glue residue with wax, wd40, 3M glue remover, tar remover and wax. Nothing touches. In the end I buffed the paint with a mixture of wipe paste and tar/wax remover to remove the glue. Then polishing paste, then wax. There are places where the glue just won't come off. It actually looks like it's in a clear coat in some places. It took me several days of trouble and apparently damaged the car. Just a bad experience all round.

Pros
  • Car care
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
