Works well, easy to set up and use. Note that the green timer indicator will blink (slow blink) approximately every 3 seconds when used as a countdown timer. The last 10 seconds flashing red and every second (rapid flashing). A feature I like. The switch for the high, low and silent sound alarm function is practical. The beeper will be louder when the back of the device is pressed against a surface such as a refrigerator. Kind of amplifies the sound. Less noisy when mounted on a kickstand. When used as a countdown timer, audiovisual alarms are not active. Just a standard stopwatch feature that you can pause and resume. Magnets work very well on vertical steel surfaces (hood, fridge). The device holds its position and does not slip. The 0.7 inch figures are visible from a standard room in an apartment building. Flashing visual lights should be easily visible in a home with a large room or classroom. Mainly used in the kitchen but has many timekeeping applications. . The size of a small compact camera fits in your pocket if needed. Powered by 2 AAA batteries which are included. I don't know anything about long-term use yet, I've only had it for a few days. .
