First of all although it has a 12 volt extension cord it has nothing to do with the main product. It does NOT compress air. I was looking for a digital gauge for my air compressor. Not only did it include detail, it also included tape for a snug fit. I compared it to two other pencil testers while checking tires. It was on point. It is attached to the Schrader valve. Even more impressive is that there is pressure from the compressor when you pump air, and then tire pressure when you let go of the valve. This gives me a better idea of the pressure in the tank when I turn off the compressor. It is easier to read, digital and accurate than using a dial gauge on the tank. The only downside might be the small handle on the valve and a bit cheap looks. It looks solid and well made but look at the photos and you will understand.
