This harness saved my dog and my life when I lost my puppy. First, let me say that I loosened the string that tied my dog to the back of my truck too much. MY BLAME for what happened. My 10-month-old, 60-pound German Shepherd decided to jump off the driver's side of my truck on a windy mountain road in the Sierra Nevada. Luckily I took the time to adjust the straps on her and she just dangled from the side of my truck (my heart was pounding as I looked at it in the mirror) until I was able to safely brake and pull off the side of the truck. Street. The leash didn't come off, and although she got a few footprints on her shins from hanging close to the rear wheel, I know she would have died in oncoming traffic if it hadn't been for it. Thanks Mighty Paw! (trying not to cry again) I will say that this size chart seems a bit small. The large harness is stretched to the limit and barely fits my 85 lb German Shepherd.
