Review on 🍳 BergKoch Splatter Screen: Stainless Steel Grease Guard for 13 inch Frying Pan to Prevent Hot Oil Splatter - Kitchen Tools & Accessories by Ramon Parra

I bought this to replace another manufacturer's screen which I returned to Revain. This screen was bent and ineffective. I wondered if all the screens would be disappointing. This screen is great. There are some bumps in the colander, but the rim is nice and flat and fits snugly on my 12" pan. This morning I roasted the asparagus over high heat to test its ability to hold oil in the pan. There was no lubrication except when I lifted the screen to turn the asparagus. I used to have cheap screens. This one is much stronger and I like the "legs" to keep the oil off the counter while cooking. Easy to clean with a soapy sponge. I look forward to using it when roasting chicken thighs. The last time I did this it took me an hour to clean up the mess from the stove, floor, splashback, etc. I threw away my old screen, didn't clean it. I'm sure this screen will clean up a lot of that mess. The advertising speaks of German quality. Screen designed in Germany, made in China.
