These are AMAZING. but a little scary. They are SO strong. I had some smaller magnets to keep an air freshener on the lid of my dog's outdoor barrel. The little ones had required 3 to hold and then the adhesive gave out after a week. But these magnets are so much stronger. It just takes one magnet on the air freshener (can add duct tape to keep magnet attached as these guys don't care about a layer of tape or five!) and one magnet on the top of the barrel - I could throw the lid around like a Frisbee and it won't come off. Warning though- these little magnets are strong so wear gloves and beware of pinched fingers. The little plastic spacers are to make them easier to take apart. If, like me you accidentally have them stick together without the spacer, be prepared for some finessing (I found pushing one forward made it easier than pulling apart). Overall pleased, but have to hide these from dogs and kids like they are rat poison !
