Review on 🧱 Building with LEGO Classic Creative Suitcase: Enhancing Creativity in Play by Carlos Whitfield

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of my favorite toys

My 4 year old just started building with small Legos when he was preschool. A few weeks after the COVID-19 crisis, I ordered this set for him as a fine motor kit. I'm a big fan of this set. It offers enough blocks of different shapes and colors to provide hours of unlimited fun, but not so much that you can't find the specific item you need. The how-to booklet is full of fun ideas. It works great at my house. My 4 year old can play at the table and his 1 year old brother plays on the floor with duplos. The dividers in the case organize the blocks so they don't have to be thrown away. We'll close the case when we're done. The risk of choking for his little brother, who constantly puts things in his mouth, is reduced to a minimum. I added the bottom plate following the instructions from one of the other reviews but it wasn't really necessary. My son is more interested in building things like cars and robots that are mobile and has yet to play on the base platform. This makes closing the case a little more awkward. In our situation, I prefer original product design.
