This Jackson welding helmet has a classic design. In fact, my first one, bought 23 years ago, was exactly the same except it was blue. It eventually failed and the sides broke off (mainly due to rough handling over 2 decades). I definitely justified my money. The new one is exactly the same plastic outer part, the headband is improved and much better, much more comfortable. Still has a large field of view, non-electronic and very simple. For another 20 years, I recommend everyone to always have a non-electronic backup mask with them. Very affordable, quality build, standard screen sizes and shades. Replacement or cleaning takes 2 minutes. If you're new and don't weld enough to justify a $350 electronic setup, I'd highly recommend this.
